Contemporary new build. The brief was for a relaxed family home with a tropical resort feel. We used glass and timber extensively with crisp white walls, accented with dark contrasts. Recycled timber was used throughout the home, natural stone for bathroom floors with neutral wall tiles to complement. Beautiful timber veneer joinery was designed and fitted throughout in the living room, study, bedrooms and bathrooms to add warmth and texture. We used white Corian bench tops alongside crisp white joinery. We chose a dark contrasting colour for the kitchen island cupboards and added a raised recycled timber breakfast bench in the same timber as the floors. We sourced interesting pendant light fittings to suit the scheme. Furniture and decoration is a classic contemporary style with custom made furniture and bursts of colour.
