Recently, my husband and I were the recipients of a prestigious award for the renovation of our home, a Victorian terrace, in Birchgrove NSW. Being a period property, attention to detail was critical especially when combining old and new. When it came to interior decorating our skills were limited so we needed to source an interior designer who has a very high attention to detail, was on our ‘wave length’ and was conscious of keeping to a strict budget. On advice from a friend, I contacted Susan Thompson of Dream Interior Design to assess her ability to assist me with decorating and furnishing, in particular, our dining and living rooms. As a corporate couple, we have many guests to our home so it was important we got it right.
After meeting with Susan I immediately recognised she is exceptionally talented. I consequently contracted her services to help me with selecting new and restoring existing furnishings. There are a number of challenges associated with our home but these did not phase Susan in the least. Throughout the whole process, Susan has been a dream to deal with. She has excellent follow-up, great attention to detail, a natural eye for colours and style, listened to my requests and then guided me through the daunting process of selecting, what we believe, were excellent choices for our home. I can’t thank Susan enough for her help. She has been very clever at delivering a first class result, within budget. Thank you so much Susan. Every day when I walk though my living and dining rooms I smile. That is a true testament to a very happy customer.
